Valley Road Adult Sized Trike

The favorite choice in a heavy-duty three wheeler adult trike is the Valley Road Air Tire Tough Trike, an adult tricycle fresh from the genuine craftsmen in an Amish welding and wood shop in eastern Pennsylvaina. The tires are knobby and the riding position can be adjusted widely by clamping the seat anywhere along the frame. You can drop one of these from three feet and all it does is bounce, without even a rattle! . Special bonus that comes with quality- quiet operation! A clevis hitch pulls low hitch trailers. The adult sized Valley Road Air Tire Trikes is powder coated in red, or green. Made in the USA.

Free shipping to most states!  Western states will add $40-$45 in shipping.

Like riding back in time to my childhood

Posted by Austin Bacchus on 18th Jun 2014

We had discovered these amazing trikes at a petting farm -- the kid-sized ones were a huge hit with our young son, but riding the adult trikes was the experience which convinced us to buy a whole set for our family. The feeling of speeding along close to the ground, coasting down hills with my feet resting on the handlebars, and swerving around turns -- it takes me right back to my childhood trike!

We bought a 13" for his birthday along with a pair of 16" for his mother and myself, and they are THE favorite family pastime for us.

These trikes (adult and child versions) are equally sturdy and durable. They are shipped partly-assembled, and it just takes some basic tools (wrench, pliers, and a rubber mallet) + 15 minutes to put them together. As with any tricycle, they could possibly tip over sideways if you turn too sharply, but the heavy rear wheels help prevent that quite well. The weight of the bikes, plus the lack of any gears, means that you only really want to drive these on very level surfaces -- but it can handle level gravel and grass surfaces as well as paved roads/driveways.

The bike seat is adjustable, you can easily slide it up and down the center frame to accommodate various leg-lengths. The seat itself is quite thick and cushiony, with springs under it -- although it will make your bum ache after prolonged riding.

Both the 16" and 13" trikes can pull the Valley Road wagon trailer easily.

I highly recommend all the Valley Road trike/trailer products!
