A tour of the Fishers' workshop and store in Lancaster County, PA, shows amazing quality in leather-craft.  Brothers and uncles to our Valley Road wagon craftsman, these leather crafters make harness and tack, and also a line of whimsical door chimes, jingle bell straps, leather fly swatters, and horse collars innovatively turned into functional clocks and mirrors. 

While these are not toys for little folks who are still "tasting" everything, we could not resist putting them out for older children and adults to enjoy.  After all, many a venturesome boy would gladly go "fly hunting" with a train-shaped flyswatter, and a pre-teen who loves horses may find the charming horse collar clocks and mirrors to be just right for a practical, yet decorative touch.
