Bring along the next generation with a proper child bicycle seat.
There are several detachable child seats for bicycles from Kettler.
The Flipper, and Teddy have the finest design and safety agency
approval for a wide range of children all the way up to 50 lb.
The top of the line Flipper is shown at the top of the page with
an earlier blue patterned pad, but now the current model's
padding is plain red.
The innovative Kettler
mounting system fits
almost all bicycles and allows easy
attachment of the seat to frame tubes up to 38 mm diameter (1.5").
A luggage rack is not needed. There are
four reducers included for tubes down to 28 mm (1.1").
Bikes need to have about 3.5" of unobstructed vertical tube
under the seat to accomodate the mounting base.
An additional adaptor base can be purchased for a second bike.
The Flipper seat is of strong injection molded resin. The
adjustable back rest has a relax position for the child.
The head rest and foot supports are both height adjustable.
The Flipper has two detachable paniers (side storage units) so you
can keep those small, useful items handy.
The washable seat upholstery is now plain red.
